Coronavirus (Covid-19) - cancellation of Series Walks
As we are all only too aware, we find ourselves in troubling and difficult times. The Government and Health Authorities have issued guidance about the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, relating to gatherings, non-essential travel and non-essential contact, as well as the types of institutions we are requested to avoid. This is having a major impact on all of our lives, as well as the activites of all walking clubs throughout the country.
The club committee have discussed the position the club finds itself in. We have made the decision that the only way to comply with the guidance that has been issued, as well as protecting the health and well being of our walkers, is to cancel our walks programme.
Therefore, with immediate effect, all Ise Valley Vagabonds Series Walks are cancelled until further notice.
Our Permanent Trails remain open, at the present time, but are under constant review. If you intend walking one of our trails, please be aware of the guidance concerning social distancing.
As well as the walks programme, we have also cancelled the AGM, which was due to take place on 7th April.
Whilst it is disappointing to have to cancel any walk, I am sure that you will agree that this is the only sensible course of action we could take under the current circumstances.
I am certain we will all meet up again, once Coronavirus has safely passed. In the meantime, keep health and keep safe. ... See more
